Finally, A Production Team that has your back.
Both established and aspiring filmmakers alike are keenly aware of the almost incomprehensible complexity of seeing words on a page become moving images "on the big screen."
Making a feature film can take an incredible toll on an individual both financially and creatively, but also emotionally and even physically. With long days and nights (even years) of nail biting, every filmmaker knows the agony experienced over every decision from script to screener. Luckily, we believe that feature filmmaking was never meant to be a journey that you take alone.
At Charthouse, we are deeply invested in every feature film and filmmaker we partner with. We walk the dark and winding road of filmmaking with you, collaborating and consulting at each important step.
By providing real, practical, and efficient solutions, we focus on tangible answers to the myriad of production problems.
We have walked this road before, from scripting, casting, and locations, to crewing, equipment, and distribution. Charthouse is here to walk this road and take this journey with your film.

CAPABILITIES
DEVELOPMENT
Eating the Elephant
Producing a feature film is like trying to eat an elephant. It's a huge, colossal, and lumbering job. It's hard to know where to start. As the saying goes, "the best way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time" in the same way filmmakers work diligently on their film project BUT it feels like little to nothing is getting done. Charthouse acts as a force multiplier to help filmmakers overcoming inertia and get the gears turning on their projects.
PRE-PRODUCTION
The Devil is in the Details
There is an incredible amount of detail that goes into pre-production: planning, calling, renting, booking, writing, crewing, emailing, checking, approving, paying, re-checking, confirming, equipping, coordinating... the list goes on and on. Many times these details can make or break your production. Having trustworthy, experienced, and organized partnership in pre-production is key for a successful production and film.
PRODUCTION
Keeping the train on the tracks
There are so many factors that can quickly "derail" a production, from a location falling through or an unexpected day of bad weather. These factors, or a combination of many, can leaving over-budget and out-of-time. Through our tried and true experience in the modified low-budget features, we are equipped to handle all the production challenges that inevitably arise.
POST-PRODUCTION
Finishing Strong & Fixing in Post
After the final "That's a Wrap!" and principle shooting is behind you, many filmmakers agree, that this is when the real work on film truly begins. For many, once the hustle and energy of being ON-SET fades away, the struggle to maintain momentum and craft what's been capture and make something compelling becomes exceedingly difficult. We are all too familiar with how it feels when the issues, cracks, and moments that "didn't quite work" become glaringly obvious. We are here to work with you through those dark days, to find solutions, provide support, and walk that treacherous road with you.
DISTRIBUTION
Avoiding Pitfalls and Putting your Best Foot Forward
Navigating the complexity of where the film "goes" once it is finally finished is (obviously) incredibly important. In addition, these decisions don't exist in a vacuum: they are all extremely interconnected and interdependent. One missed step could mean loss of significant revenue and reach for the film. We are deeply invested in seeing the films we partner with avoid these pitfalls and reach the largest audience they can.
